I want to replace rear main seal in 400 gas. Have seal and gaskets. It is 2 pieces. Do you have to take off plate that goes between engine and bell housing? Have bolts put, not enough room to get top 1/2 out and bottom 1/2 set on a ledge. Is that part of the oil pan? Could probably pry top out but bottom isn't going to. Surely someone has done this, is there something simple I'm missing or do you have to take more off to get to it? Also, The two locking straps for flywheel bolts need replaced and CIH dealer says they are not available anymore. Someplace to get them or make your own?? Thanks in advance, Chris
