Oil pan must come off.
 Remove the pan  Remove the bolts from the seal retainer.
 Remove the retainer.
 Basically all you do is soak the seal halves in oil for a bit. I left mine over night. Then install them in the seal retainer. I over lapped mine to cover the area where the 2 halves come together. Then install the top half of the retainer and gasket. After that put the bottom half up to the top half (dont forget the little gaskets)and use the cap screws ( shown by arrow in photo) to draw the 2 halves together. This compresses the seal around the shaft. Then tighten the 2 bottom bolts on the retainer.
Done!!
