I have the final drives off and i need to remove the axles. If i remove the set screw will the slide out? Ran out of steam and quit for the night. Any recommendations for the bearings, seals? i know the outer left axle bearing is bad and need to check the final drive also. I'm not having any luck locating them online. Parts house here is a nightmare to get parts. Now for the tranny, i have the diff out and need to pull the shafts. The rivet is already out of the reverse gear. Manual says to buck reverse gear and drive shaft out. What do they usually use to buck the gear with? I dont want to break anything or mess the bearing up. I still have to pull the tranny and remove the flange and bearing retainer. Thanks
