274 off-set diesel steering problem

I'm having trouble with the worm gear,ball bearing,and the thing the worm gear goes inside. The worm gear got chipped and I silver soldered it and replaced the bearings and it lasted about 45 minuites and the same thing happened again.Is there any way I can fix this problem. Thanks in advance.
