Sorry for the delay answer, Ive been buisy The answer is yes two of the three outlets need to be plugged. The left side outlets are connected internally to the right one. The rear outlet was used (with a restrictor) to cause a sequenced lowering , or raising of an implement like cultivators so the front came up, then the rear. Then the front would enter the soil, then the rear. Not needed for the putpose indicated in the diagram. The reason I indicated a T at the top is because I feel that putting the return into the bottom stris up particles that can collect there, and a T put in that spot can be bumped into breaking it off. It is not wrong to do it though. There is no filter on a Lift-all if you want to use one, put it in the return line to the resivoir, and make sure it is rated for about 9 gpm. Thanks for asking, JimN
