Kent: Your bigger problem will be lack of live pto, rather than size of tractor. My dad pulled an engine drive baler complete with wagon, up hill and down behind the H. Now, I will admit we didn't have a lot of hills but the few we had were heavy enough. A 300 or 350 with live pto will work much better.

To start with engine drive balers are a pain in your butt, as is any engine that only runs about 2 weeks per year. I know my dad's baler engine wasn't long going down the road once he bought the 300.
