Morning Hugh Pieces are 1/16 inch thick,and not tapered. Rough edge at top is where they were broken. They appear to be 2 separate pieces, I tried fitting them together but the breaks don't match. They both broke at the curve, but one piece is longer than the other. As big Fred suggested, they might be tabs from the shift linkage, but I think they are too thick and stiff for that. Pieces are not magnetic.
