I've found that my idler gear between the crank gear and governor has two broken teeth. The crank gear has LOTS of wear on it, way more than the cam or the idler...I s'pose since its doing double duty and is the smallest of the three, that's expected. I'm going to buy a new crank gear, but can't find the idler gear new. I've always heard its bad juju to mix new and old gears, but it doesn't look like there are many alternatives....any input on that? Also, does anyone have an H cracked open w/ a good idler gear they'd be willing to part with?
