It did plow very hard and I had to use first gear on my 560D to pull a 4x14" at 8" deep and I have a very strong 560. Second gear was just too hard on the engine. Since I had to go so slow the plow didn't cover very well and I had to disk it last fall after I plowed it just to cover the residue. This stuff hadn't been plowed in 40 years.
