Vet, you are just the envy of a lot of us "older" guys. I grew up farming with dad in southwest Iowa with the old stuff and now live down here in the southwest corner of Missouri. There ain't a 5 gallon bucket of black dirt on our whole place down here I don't think. Raises fair grass for our cow-calf herd, but I sure miss real farming. You know, discing the stalks up, plowing, re-discing, harrowing, planting, cultivating three times, ear corn picking, putting corn in the open crib. shelling it out in the winter. sure miss that stuff now that I ain't doing it. You
