IH 10 ft Disk ??

Picked this old disk up for reasonable price, couple Questions. First how does the hydrolic cylinder hook for max lift to get the wheels up? There are two holes on top for cylinder to attach, maybe I need a shorter cylinder, mine is too long for lower hole. Ive got one grease fitting that wont take grease, cant get anything on it to remove it. Thanks Lou
