What do you mean by hub? Do you mean the cast-iron wheel center or do you mean the axle housing? When I look at the outside of the axle housing on our W6, it appears that the seal doesn't seal against the axle shaft(like an M), but instead onto the cast wheel center. I would think that the easiest way to replace the seal would be to take off the wheel center and then use a 3 or 4 jaw puller with the arms reversed from the center of the axle shaft to pull out the old seal, then pull the old axle shaft out and put the new axle and seal in. This would allow you to leave the new one together, but the old one would need to come apart. I have never done this before,so I could be completely wrong, but that is my guess. Good luck.
