Don't feel stupid about the MCV bulb. It must have taken me 20 minutes staring at it scratching my head before I figured out how to get it apart. Part of it was just sheer luck, and not skill. I ran into the same problem as you, the back fell behind the dashboard. What I did is I removed the cover over the 3 auxilliary gauges. Only problem is my arm was too thick to get through the mess of wires and down where it belongs. If your arms are skinnier, try that. If not, you can do what I did. I removed the bolts from the black panel that the light is mounted into. Once they are all removed,CAREFULLY pull the bottom of the panel out from the dashboard just enough to get your hand in. You need to remember that the oil pressure gauge and coolant guage are both mounted on the top. If you pull too hard, you risk kinking the small tubing running to them. Now put the new bulb in. Now before you put it back on, there should be a spring that sits between the dash plate and the back of the light housing. If not, it fell off when it fell behind the dash. What you need to do is to push the back of the light housing against the dash plate to compress it as much as possible while simultaneously pushing the plastic lens half into the back half and once it has bottomed out against the plate, turning it clockwise(I think). If you have one person to push in the housing and another to push in the lens and turn, it makes it a lot easier, because the spring is hard to compress alone I had the front half come flying out several times. Then put in the ignition key and turn it to the run position. If it works put the bolts back in the plate and you should be set. If not, check to see if the wiring is damaged or if there is corrosion in the base or the switch if faulty down at the MCV. Hope this helps.

Talk of the Town: Winterizing Engines - To Drain or Not to Drain? - by Russ Berry. What is this strange attraction I have to equipment and machinery? How did I get this way? I came from the suburbs and own a small horse farm in rural Loudoun County, Virginia. You can call me a "weekend farmer." The local farmers do. Does it bother me? No. I am just happy to have their friendship. At least the word "farmer" is in my title. But what is the attraction? How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
