Mornin Kevin, Hugh has given some good advice, I have only pulled apart a couple of those steering boxes, some light amount of heat may help you out! When you do finally get it apart, you can take some of the slop out by putting a large washer between the outer bearing race and the inside lip of that castle nut your trying to remove. What this does is reduce the axial float on the steering shaft. Hope this helps. As Hugh has stated, the steering arm shaft exiting the bottom of the steering box can have a loose nut, worn woodruff key or both. On my Super A I had other problems like the tapered lock bolt that connects the steering arms to the steering spindles were also sheared :"( scotty
