Use the gasket that resembles the one you took off -- I still have the extra one that came with the kit, the instruction sheet may say, I don't remember. The head bolts are tightened to 45 ft lbs. Be sure to dip the o-rings in hydraulic fluid before installation. I did not use any gasket sealer on that gasket for fear it would get somewhere it was not supposed to be. It does not leak. Clean the mating surfaces on the head and block throughly. I always tell people to get operators, parts, and service manuals as soon an they purchase a tractor -- not to be arrogant or not willing to give help, but because there is information in them that you will not know about until you study them, also info that those answering questions are likely to forget, we can't remember everything.
