I need help. I've been running a nice 1948 Farmall Cub. Last year, just before winter, the tractor started sputtering around and losing power. I checked the float bowl and there was no blockages. Someone at work said it could be something to do with a bad carbureator float nipple. If I tap the bottom of the carb gently with a hammer, it acts like it's getting more gas for awhile, then starts sputtering around again. To you experts out there, does this sound like spark plug replacements, or something in the carb (like the float or the nipple)? Thanks in advance for all of your help! I'm trying to get it working before the grass gets too high again! Dave
