There are adjustments on everything, but nothing could be so out of adjustment that the tractor would not move. Something is worn out or broken inside. You can try making adjustments, but I doubt if it will help. Both the owner's manual and the I&T shop manual document the very specific adjustment procedure for the clutch and TA. It's a complicated procedure, that if done incorrectly, will leave the tractor in a state where you can't shift it. You'll likely end up replacing the main clutch and the TA unit. I certainly hope you didn't buy this tractor; you're in deep deep trouble if you did. It doesn't sound like you have the skills or facilities to fix these major problems, and it's going to cost you a fortune to have it done professionally. If you want to learn, I would start with something smaller and simpler to work on, like a Farmall H.
