Several possible causes:
The self adjuster components are assembled incorrectly
The self adjuster has the wrong components, just a little difference makes a large over adjust.
The system is not allowing the complete release of brake force.

I would jack the Wheel and see if it turns freely.
If not, release all possible application, then check.
If still draging, I would blame the self adjusters.

Drag should be just enough to stop the wheel in two to three revolutions when spun hard by hand.
