hyd. belly pump off a M

Are the parts and pieces between two or more belly hyd. pump interchangable. I have one that appears to have been used and abused alot. I am thinking of purchasing another and making one good pump out of the two if need be. Will I encounter any large problems by making one from the two or should it work out.
