Hey Greg. I added a 3-point to my 154 a few years ago. I had "tee" come with the 3 point so I don't have to convert, but both operate at the same time. There are blocks I think you can install in the one that you are not using that would stop it from falling. There is also a valve that isolates the two systems. Don't think you can buy a replacement from IH, but I think some have installed a 3rd pary valve. I haven't seen a need for a temp gage. I'm sure it could be done. As for the extra HP, that would be nice, but again I don't know exactly what could be done. If you haven't already, be sure to visit the Yahoo group dedicated to these cool tractors "IHcubloboyseries". There is a ton of people there that can help with each of your questions.
