Hi! Really need some help on this one! Went to an auction over the weekend in SE Wisconsin and almost over looked a pretty tough looking Farmall B basically good for parts. It has the exaust lift on it and looks like any normal B except for the serial number plate and location. It is on the seat post like the rest of them, but turned 90%-I can tell it's original. All B's that I've seen have a serial number tag that says" FAB XXXX" as a serial number and an RPM rating of 1540. This one Says "FRB 125" and has an RPM rating of 1500. Why does this one say FRB instead of FAB? the number is 125 as clear as day-what does the "R" mean in FRB? All IH's started with a number of 501. Mine is 125? The RPM is different and the tag is turned 90 degrees from the factory? What tractor is it that I have? Can anyone tell me about this little B?? Thanks So Much For Any Input!! Rob Bush
