If you're thinking about pulling that mag you need to bring No1 piston up to TDC on the compression stroke. Then look at your rotor to see where it is pointing. Should be at No1 plug tower. Once you remove the mag don't move the engine. This will make it easier to reinstall mag. Hal
PS: You can also tell if the engine is in time
by doing the above procedure by bringing No1 piston to TDC on the compression stroke and make sure rotor is at No1 plug tower.
