I have herd that some have had success with Sea Foam Deep Creep sprayed in the carburetor and Rizlone oil additive. I tired it on my backhoe and it cut my oil consumption in half (whoopee from a quart to an hour to a quart to two hours :<[ ) but I figured it was a reasonably priced thing to try. Ended up tearing it down and found excessively worn rings and sleeves.
