fitting a woods 42a to a farmall cub?

I purchased a woods 42" belly mower for my cub but the
mower turns out to be a 42a with bracket that has in line
pulleys centered on the bar.

The bracket would fit if I remove my drawbar...

I was told that with a 90 degree pulley adapter it might
work...

I"m not sure.

Any feedback would help.
