Wes, The tube coming out of the side of the front control valve is the front portion of the u shaped tube you are refering to. the back of the this u tube curves to the ps control valve at the rear which is inside the rear remote valve pictured. The length of your u tube will depend on how many remote valves you have. As you can see in the pic I have two valves in front and one in the rear. The ps valve is mounted inside the rear controler and the u tube fits into the rear of that. Because I have a front and back control valve my u tube connects to both the front and back then circles around to the back of the ps valve. Thats about as confusing as I can make it:-) Dell
