I had that problem on my 140 when my battery box wasn`t on the tractor, Those two 3/8`` fine thread bolts that screw from the battery box into the back of the dash will sturdy it up. If that don`t do it, then I`d agree with Nat that the friction pads are either rusted up or they`re adjusted wrong.There`s an adjustment on the outside of both touch control levers where they`re double nutted. Loosen them up and try readjusting them so they stay where you want them ,but move somewhat easily when you need to move them. Hope this helps,Mark
