Michael: Wake up call time, a good number of us have had our warnings for various health problems. My doctor once said, "You can live the first part of your life a wee bit on the reckless side, then you must live for your health". Notice I didn't say half, so I'm not going to guarentee you'll be around at a 112. Look at Hal, 73 and been living with blood pressure issues for 20 years. As I recall he has other things he copes with as well. My mother was plagued with blood pressure problems from the time she was in her early 20s, and she lived to be 86. Coincidently, she must have been around that age when I was born, then she had 5 more boys. I don't think it necessarily runs in the genes. I've had the blood pressure of a teenager for all my 63 years, even when I was well overweight. Just a year ago I got my wakeup call, blood sugar, got it under control and am feeling better than I have in years. Looking back, that one had been biting me for years. All through it I had good heart tests, good blood pressure and good colesterol. We all have our own little peculiarties. You take care.
