I would make a little panel with an amp meter in it, a place for a fuse holder, and the push/pull switch. You might put the charging system together and need the gauge. The supply wire to the amp gauge should come from the mechanical starter switch battery side (10GA wire). The wire from the gauge should be the load point for all other lights and accessories through another fuse, (and the Gen/volt reg. when connected). One of these wires should go to the fuse, from the fuse a wire (12ga) should go to the supply side of the push/pull sw. I hope this helps. Let us know. JimN
