340U-Rotary Disc Mower

I have a 340U, in good shape, T/A, dual remotes.
My Research indicates it should handle a 5'6" Rotary Disc Mower. Land is fairly level. Would appreciate any input from those with experience.
I am not looking at a new mower-too costly. Local IH dealer has a New Ideal which he says can be shortened to appropriate length bar.
