carbonation gauge farmall A

There is a gauge right below my oil filter that says carbonation gauge that I assume is telling me oil pressure. While using my A to mow this morning the level of this steadily dropped from between 40 and 50 to about 30. There is no sign of an oil leak externally, no oil in the water and no smoke. Also, after I turned it off, it didn't want to fire back up. I just replaced the coil, condenser and points and it has been firing first crank. I assume these are separate issues, although I thought I'd mention it anyway. Any thoughts? Randy
