If an engine was way hot, and there was fresh cold air blown onto a red hot exhaust valve, it could, but probably would not, Warp. Ignore it. The only real exhaust related facts are how well the dynamics of the flow interact with the valve timing and pumping efficiency of the engine. In a low speed low compression, small valved engine, it just isn't important. JimN
