Canadian tractors

I plan to buy an old tractor in Canada and bring it home to Washington state. As I was going through the ads I noticed some ads that said they will sell to a U.S. buyers only. Is their a problem with buying in Canada and crossing back into the U.S., Are papers/tax require at the boarder for the tractor?
