It is in two gears at the same time. If it can be pushed (by hand forward and back rather violently, while the clutch is down, and the shifter is being pushed toward neutral, it should come out of third. It will not be fixed though. It will need the shifter removed and the shift rails in the trans moved to alignment (one will be out of place with the others. Then the tip of the lever needs to be welded back up and ground down to fit snugly in the rails. Good luck, sometimes they are badley wedged in two gears and need to have the top of the tranny lifted to force them into neutral. JimN
