My C was choking to death after running at high rpms for 10 minutes or so. I disconnected the air cleaner from the carb and it runs fine. After cleaning all of the crud stuck to the roof of the air cleaner intake, I thought I had solved the problem. But I am still having the same trouble. There has to be more crud built up inside the air cleaner body. Any ideas on how to clean that out? Also, what weight of oil should I be using in the bottom cup on the air cleaner? Could too heavy an oil be causing this problem? Thanks!
