This little girl has me scratching my head. One of our 140"s came into the shop with an external leak on the touch control. (other than the leak it was working ok) Order rebuild kit from local IH dealer, tear apart system on bench, kept things nice and clean, lubed all of the new seals and bores with clean hydraulic oil while installing, laid all of the parts out carefully so I put them back in correctly....long story short, reinstall unit onto machine, add oil, cranked it a bit without firing to make sure oil got around through system and then gave her spark and let her rip....hydraulics worked great, up down,up down, several times...then nothing...WHAT HAPPENED? fluid level good, screen clean, orifice seems okay... Do I have a valve hanging up? It seems that the unit is underload...oil maybe bypassing? Fluid seems to get warm quickly, I check the settings and the control linkages seem to be okay...pump appears to be working fine. Where do I start? Thanks for any help.
