Okay, I believe you. They have about 3X the parts you need anyway....but whatever. A float....floats or it sinks. Butterfly's..why change them? Worn shafts? Hell, my shaft is worn too, but it still works:). Air screw? Unless it's been used to pick boogers and splinters, a little steel wool will clean them up. I am satisfied you know more than I do on these Farmall's. But, for the most part, these carbs just get gunked up and the needle valve starts leaking. Clean the carb thoroughly..as in squeaky clean, put in a new needle and seat, and you should be good to go. HOWEVER, some folks insist on total restoration, just short of a entirely new unit. That's fine. Don't think it's necessary, but okay with me.
