First, clean them down with a good soap solution or automotive liquid cleaner...dry off...then use a small amount of boiled linseed oil on a small soft rag and wipe them down carefully.Dispose of the rag after letting it sit out overnight to dry. Do not put directly in the garbage after use, as the rag will spontaneous combust...we don't want any fires !!
After a day or two, when the linseed oil has dried on the emblems...coat with clear enamel or
automotive clear. Varnish works too, but will turn "yellow" with time.
