Well, got the front tire remounted on the Cub today after having pulled it off THREE times to fix a hole in the tube. Had it done professionally this time, guy rubbed the burrs off the rim and put a piece of rubber "gasket" around the stem where the rim was kinda rotten. Put a boot in it. FYI, neither Bubble Gum, Slime nor Fix-A-Flat works to seal a pinhole leak on the inside of the tube (the part that contacts the rim). That stuff only works for a puncture on the WEAR SURFACE of the tire, where the centrifugal force of driving the tractor can place the goop over the leak to seal it. That tire better be up tomorrow morning!
