If the carburetor is from a running tractor, then it probably would be that easy. If it came from a fence row derelict, or from a tractor that has not run in several years, the usual cleaning methods may or may not work. I have rebuilt several that were so full of crud that soaking them for 2 days would not loosen the stuff, and spraying the aerosol stuff into the passages would not dissolve it either. It all depends on the condition of the carb you are working on.
