Thanks for your help. I've got it to what I believe is correct with the 4 wire VR. I am using the L terminal to power the lights. I will stop by Advance Auto Parts for a new 6 volt battery. I called after work tonight and they have one in stock for $42. If it would happen to be backwards when I try the lights I'll just switch the wires on the ammeter posts around. Good to know no harm would be done though too. Thanks fellows and I'll let you all know how it works out. Bob
