I think CNKS is on the money regarding the size of disc that an H will pull. My H packs good power, and really has it"s hands full trying to pull an 8 footer in good soil. A lot of it will depend on how aggressive the gangs are and the quality of the soil in your area. I save the 8 footer for the M.

An H is a handy tractor though. Should be perfect for that two row corn planter, 8 or 10 foot grain drill, and that two bottom plow you mentioned. Don"t worry so much about the manufacturer however...know about it"s compatability with your tractor, and it"s overall condition as the guys stated above.
