1066 PTO Pressure Check/Adjustment

I am needing to check pressures on the PTO on my 1066. I recently replaced the rubber boot on top of control valve stem and did not realize when doing so that I could affect adjustment by moving valve adjustment nut and most likely did. Does it take a special fitting to screw in where the plug is to check pressures and set? I have manual and it spells out procedure but does not mention any special plug.
