I don't believe they think they are better than you, they are simply proud of the work they put into their tractors, and don't want a bunch of people leaning on them. H's and M's are just as hard to paint as older or newer tractors, (but they have a LOT less parts than the newer ones) and get messed up just as easily. Having done the prep work and then attempted to do good paint jobs I know the amount of work that goes into them-days, weeks, months. Again, to each his own.
