If the engine has a piston on top tdc just where do you think it can go? The only way you can move any piston is if it is not on the top or bottom of the throw. Just remove the head and remove the pistons then you can get the rings unstuck and cleaned up so when you are done you have a good engine. Just remember there is a reason that it is stuck.
