for the IH tractors of the 40s/50s, the oil pressures should be:

A,B,C,H,M,etc Gas: 70-75psi
Diesels: 45psi
Cub: 30-35psi

Any tractor that loses a fair amount of oil pressure after warming up, has a serious problem with oil clearances, and should be repaired before some major damage occurs. After an engine rebuild which includes a reground crank W/bearings, Camshaft bearings, Block cleaning, new oil pressure regulating spring and valve, none of my engines will lose pressure when warm. I also use the oil that IH specifies, 30W Low Ash oil.
