There is a cover that the tach cable goes to opposite the fuel pump. Take it off and you'll see a gear with 3 bolts holding it on. Loosen the bolts. Also take out a plug using a 1/2" drive ext, that is located a about 7 o'clock under the pump mounting flange. Make sure the flywheel is on your #18 setting. Look in the plug hole and there will be two marks. They need to be lined up with each other. Take a socket (maybe a 3/4 or 15/16) place it inside the three bolts you loosed and you will move one of the marks. If it is not moving then you are at the end of the slots with the 3 bolts and you need to remove the 3 bolts pull the gear off and move it one tooth. Then you'll be able to line up the marks. Tighten the three bolts. Not sure on the torque setting thou.
