Those 4 cylinder IH tractors are pretty much gas hogs.....and the 330,having the smallest of the 300/330/350 series tractor engines should get the best "mileage".Remember though that a 300/350 puts out 40-42 hp,and a 40-42hp Kohler or Wisconsin gas engine would probably consume pretty close to the same amounts.Compare it against a 12 hp MTD lawn tractor and there is no comparison..... I think someone needs to come up with an electronic fuel injection system for these tractors...it would be costly,but would bring them fully up to modern day technology. (Pertronix electronic ignition,Delco 10SI internal regulated 12V alternator,and EFI) The anti lock brakes and air bags can be left off though.....lol
