The folks on this forum have recently taught me that this is a dry sleeve block so new o rings are not going to cure the problem.

If you have droplets of antifreeze down there you definitely have a crack in the water jacket and it does not need to get into the oil.

Could be kiss of death depending on the severity.

I rebuilt a G Allis Chalmers this spring. It had a crack in the block. I welded the crack and it still had pin holes that weeped. Did not know what to do so I got some stuff from NAPA and put it in the radiator--it seems as if it were somekind of fiberglass or something. The directions were to pour it in the water and run it for 30 minutes. I ran it for an Hour and it quit leaking. I have been running it without incident since then. So, if you have a hairline crack in the water jacket...it "might" be worthwhile to try this..you have nothing to loose, do it, run it, then change the oil...see what happens...if it fails...then you are into a diffrent block.
