While it is running, with the throttle open wide, brakes locked, in neutral, adjust the screw on the bottom front of the carb in (CW) the smoke will get less and less. Keep turning (might be more than one turn) till the engine starts to stumble a little. Then screw it out till it runs nice again then 1/4 turn more. Try it under load and in operating from idle to full throttle. If it runs well, it is fixed. If not adjust so that it is not hesitating and not making smoke. If it will not quit making smoke when screwed in, the carb needs (at least) a float adjustment. Good luck, JimN
