these seem to be the most dominantly used ones...
for engine and transmission work that is.

the manifold and plugs obviously take a deep well socket, and most others work best for clearance on a shallow socket.

1/2" drive

IH is great about opposing a 5/8 bolt to a 9/16 nut(or did I get that backwards), anyhoo, I would get a 1/2" set of deepwells...

BUT, the torque wrench and breaker bars are usually 3/4" drive, sooooo. yeah... just a variety. Harbor Freight sells cheap.

oh, oh. and above those sizes I have a 24" crescent wrench that fits the bill !!!
